Hyperhidrosis

hyperhidrosis

Nothing is more embarrassing than excessive sweating, be it of the forehead, head, under arms or hands & feet. Treating these areas, with sweat reducing injections, will significantly improve the condition & only need to be repeated every 8-9 months. It is however a costly, but very effective treatment, with only mild discomfort.

The area is cleansed with alcohol, then iodine is applied and dusted with corn starch. The person is asked to exercise, which will cause sweating and the area will turn dark brown/black. The area of perspiration is marked, a grid is drawn, and topical anaesthetic applied to each block. The calculated Neurotoxin dosage is then injected into each square and the area is wiped clean. A few areas of bruising may occur.
